Our Taproom and Brewery is worth the detour (or dedicated trip). Located on the verdant slopes of Haleakala in upcountry Maui, at an ideal 1,900 ft. elevation, the taproom features a mix of vintage and modern industrial finishes making for an awesome yet comfortable environment to sample our amazing beers and hang out with friends and loved ones (or just spend some quality alone time with a good beer). There is simply nothing else like it on Maui.

We do NOT take reservations or reserve individual tables. All seating is first-come, first-served. If you require a private space for a special event, please see our PRIVATE EVENTS page.

We are a cashless establishment. We accept all major credit cards, our gift cards, AND can even accept PayPal and Venmo from your phone through our POS !

ONLY SERVICE ANIMALS are allowed on the premises. We love animals, however due to Hawaii Health Codes, we are NOT allowed to have any pets in any serving area (this includes the outdoor seating ares as well unfortunately). PETS are welcome to be tied up on the OUTSIDE of the fence of the lanai to hang out nearby, as long as they behave themselves. Your pet may be better off at home, it is not ideal but we have to follow the rules, sorry.

Planning to arrive hungry? Lucky you. We have two excellent food options to choose from. We are stoked to feature Upcountry Sausage Co.’s gourmet sausage cart out on the Lanai where you can get delicious sausages, smash burgers, street tacos and more, available from noon to close each day. They provide table service in the taproom, and even have a delicious vegan and vegetarian options as well!

In addition, we are fortunate to have partnered with renowned Maui chef Jeff Scheer and his wife Kaili to provide authentic handmade wood-fired pizzas, charcuterie and cheese plates, and other amazing menu items served to the taproom from their adjacent restaurant Marlow.

For the non beer drinkers in the group, we are proud to offer a well-curated selection of over a dozen great wines-by-the-glass, and have a state-of-the-art preservation dispensing system for our best wines. Non-alcoholic options include draft Maui Jun, draft Vitalitea Kombucha, draft MBC Root Beer, plus Nitro Cold-Brew coffee, Pellegrino waters, Shaka Iced Tea, Hawaiian Gingerade and even organic juice boxes for the Keiki.

Enjoy the natural beauty of Maui. Our ground level lanai and second floor balconies offer ample outdoor seating to enjoy awe-inspiring views up the slopes of Haleakala, the Pacific Ocean and West Maui Mountains. Sunsets at Mahalo Aleworks are epic.

Inside (if you call being under a roof with a wall of open glass garage doors “inside”) you will find beer garden tables downstairs and a lounge complete with leather loveseats upstairs, plus a killer close-up view of our entire brewhouse.

We are family-owned and operated, and a family-friendly Brewery. Ben and Jacquelyn have four small keiki of their own, so there is even a baby changing table in the men’s room. We are kids-of-all-ages friendly, and have an array of non-alcoholic beverages including “Honest” organic juice boxes for only $1, so the kids can be happy while you get to enjoy some great beer!

We have To-Go Beer. We are fortunate to be able to offer our fresh beer to go in recyclable 32oz Crowler cans (think giant beer can!). Crowlers may be purchased at the ordering counter, and are available in the glass door fridge by the merchandise.
